WSU GEAR UP

Moses Lake High students received a special presentation on Wednesday Jan. 9th. Colleen Williams, also known as the organ lady, presented to nine health focused classes. Ms. Donovan’s presentation focused on the human body and how choices we currently make will have long term effects on our bodies. She went over the dangers of tobacco, drugs, and alcohol. Her passionate life story and use of real human organs made a lasting impact on students. At the end of the presentation, students had the opportunity to safely handle organs and learn the difference between healthy and damaged lungs, livers and kidneys. This was a great experience for our medical careers and athletic training classes.
